INSTRUCTORS QUALIFICATIONS

MASTER INSTRUCTOR CRITERIA
• Must
be a State Certified Appraiser.
• Must have a minimum of ten years of experience in
the field of real estate appraisal.
• Must have a minimum of 300 class room hours of experience
in teaching real estate appraisal/assessment education.
• Must have completed an instructor training workshop.
• Must have participated in the development of the course
/seminar being taught or attended the course/seminar within
the two years prior to teaching the course/seminar.
• Must meet any additional State imposed requirements.
Additional requirement for teaching
a USPAP course/seminar:
• Must be an AQB Certified
Instructor.
ASSOCIATE INSTRUCTOR CRITERIA
• Must
be a State Certified Appraiser.
• Must have a minimum of five years of experience in
the field of real estate appraisal.
• Must have a minimum of 60 class room hours of experience
in teaching real estate appraisal/assessment education -or-
have completed a minimum of seventy-five class room hours
as an instructor trainee.
• Must have participated in the development of the course
being taught or attended the course/seminar within the two
years prior to teaching the course/seminar.
• Must meet any additional State imposed requirements.
Additional requirement for teaching
a USPAP course/seminar:
• Must be an AQB Certified
Instructor.
TRAINEE INSTRUCTOR CRITERIA:
(A
Trainee Instructor can only teach under the direct supervision
of a Master Instructor. A Trainee Instructor can only participate
in the instruction of specified sections of material within
a course/seminar.)
• Must be a State Certified
Appraiser.
• Must have a minimum of five years of experience in
the field of real estate appraisal.
• Must have completed an instructor training workshop.
• Must have participated in the development of the course
being taught or attended the course/seminar within one year
prior to participating in the instruction of the course/seminar.
