Basic Appraisal Procedures
This basic appraisal course provides an overview of real estate appraisal approaches to value, valuation procedures, property description, residential application, commercial application, improvement construction, home inspection, and appraisal math. Through theory and examples, the course offers practical application of appraisal procedures.

100% attendance is required.
This course is based on the 2008 AQB requirements for Trainee, Licensed, Certified Residential and Certified General credentials. (This course is also required for the Nebraska Registered credential.)
This course is approved by the Nebraska Real Property Appraiser Board for 30 hours of qualifying education and 28 hours of continuing education. Nebraska number Q002.
This course is approved by the Iowa Real Estate Appraiser Examining Board for 30 Hours of Qualifying Education (A540-105) or 28 hours of Continuing Education (A540-202).
The approval by the Nebraska Real Property Appraiser Board is honored by the Nebraska Real Estate Commission for continuing education for sales persons and brokers and by the Nebraska Department of Property Assessment and Taxation for continuing education for Assessor recertification.
Appraisers in other states may be eligible to receive qualifying or continuing education credit and they should check with their state appraiser board.
