Basic Appraisal Principles
This course provides an overview of real property concepts and characteristics, legal considerations, value influences, real estate finance, types of value, economic principles, real estate markets and analysis, and ethics in appraisal theory.
Through theory and examples, the course offers practical application of appraisal principles.
This course is based on the 2008 AQB requirements for Trainee, Licensed, Certified Residential and Certified General credentials.

100% attendance is required.
This course is approved by the Nebraska Real Property Appraiser Board for 30 hours of qualifying education and 28 hours of continuing education (Q001).
Appraisers in other states may be eligible to receive qualifying or continuing education credit and they should check with their state appraiser board.
The approval by the Nebraska Real Property Appraiser Board is honored by the Nebraska Real Estate Commission for continuing education for sales persons and brokers and by the Nebraska Department of Property Assessment and Taxation for continuing education for Assessor recertification.
